Brooke and Kyle got married a few weeks ago in an elegant backyard wedding at their home in Monkland, Ontario. It’s the same location where they had their engagement portraits taken, though this time there were no puppies! The outdoor décor was the stuff of wedding planning dreams. The florals and outdoor tent set-up by Sage Designs elevated the vision of a backyard wedding to a whole new level. Brooke’s choice of blush, raspberry, and navy were beautiful and stood out really well against the green summer foliage. But it was the reception and good company that made this wedding one to remember!
Brooke and her attendants gathered at the Amell’s house where the wedding was taking place. The ladies got ready with refreshments and lots of hairspray. Meanwhile, the groomsmen were preparing next door at Brooke and Kyle’s house. It was a very hot, very humid day, and everyone was thankful for the air conditioning that morning! The happy couple opted for a first look to take as many portraits as they could before the guests arrived. It gave them a few minutes to themselves before the excitement of the day started in full swing.
Wedding speeches are often dreaded a little by those giving them and those listening! But I’ve been lucky to have worked with amazing couples and their equally amazing families, and it’s one of my favourite parts of the day. The Beehler wedding was no exception. There was laughing, crying, and and more laughing throughout dinner. It always reminds me that it’s a huge honour to be part of and document such a joyful day.
Brooke and Kyle, I wish you many years of happiness and hope you keep dancing together with the same enthusiasm into your senior years. Congratulations, and I hope you enjoy the images!
