Outside of my life as a photographer, I have a 9-5 job, and I’m lucky to have a bunch of really awesome coworkers. Jason is one of them, and he and his wife Nicole are possibly the most cheerful couple I’ve ever met. Now, I know that all couples have their moments, but these two seem to be nearly always smiling when they’re together. Nicole has this amazingly contagious laugh, and they’re both way cooler than I am – they go see live music all the time, and they did a Star Wars themed bathroom for their boys. Enough said!

Jason surprised Nicole with a family portrait session for their wedding anniversary, and they decided to go to Mooney’s Bay, which is where they had their engagement photos done years ago! After rescheduling due to rain, we had a perfect hour of sunshine right before sunset. Their boys were so patient and well behaved, and so photogenic! It’s not hard to see where they get it from.
