Erica and Kyle are getting married at Code’s Mill in Perth this winter! They decided to do summer engagement photos in Ottawa to take advantage of two seasons. I brought them to one of my favourite locations that has water, fields, and trees to choose from. Thankfully, the weather was wonderful!
They’re planning on having black and white as their wedding colours, which is a combination that Erica loves. I think it’s going to look very high end for a winter wedding! They brought the theme into their engagement photos for their dressier outfits and the more casual ones.
Towards the end of their session they pulled out a bottle of bubbly that their friends customized for the occasion. They popped the cork and took a few minutes to enjoy before we headed off to take some cool portraits with Kyle’s sports car! I’m not a car photographer but even I think these images look slick. I couldn’t believe how shiny he was able to get it. Any time a couple wants to introduce something unique to them in their engagement sessions I’m all for it!
