Doing a family session with a toddler is always an adventure. If you’re thinking of having one done, here’s a tip: the first few minutes are just about the ones ones your child will might stay still and look at the camera, so make sure the whole family is in those first few shots, as you may not get the opportunity again for a group shot.
Jonah isn’t yet three, and, like so many kids that age, is full of energy and fun. Outdoor sessions are great for children that age, because they can take breaks to run around and have fun in between trying to stay somewhat still. In this session, Jonah was no exception. His parents, Shawn and Isabelle, are so wonderful with him. They’re patient and involved, and Jonah is clearly very loved. What a lucky kid! The second part of their session was indoors by the Christmas tree, but I wanted to share these outdoor images.
Thank you to the Chartrand-Blais family for spending Saturday morning with me!
