Right before Rob and I went to Iceland (more on that adventure later!), Randy and Jennifer met me along the Rideau River for their maternity session. They are expecting their first baby later this month, and yet Jennifer managed to wear heels for this photoshoot. I can’t even manage heels on a regular day. Honestly: I bought my first pair last week and have been trying to teach myself to walk in them for a couple hours each day at work. I look like a baby colt wobbling around. Jennifer definitely does not!

These two are so, so sweet. They wanted simple and natural images outdoors, and while we found a great spot to shoot it, it was really their interaction that stole the show. Recently married, these guys are pros at posing, and they have perfected the “model face.” You’ll see what I mean. But when they’re not posing, they’re laughing, and talking, and holding hands. Randy looks at Jennifer like he’s just about the proudest guy in the world. And he makes her laugh non-stop. You can just tell that with all the love overflowing with this couple, they’re going to make great parents!

Jennifer and Randy, thanks for spending a fantastic sunset hour with me! Can’t wait to meet your little one in just a few weeks!
