A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing little Sloan, who lives with her family just outside of Ottawa. She was so tiny, with dark brown hair and delicate lashes. I love photographing children, but they can be very rambunctious! With a newborn, I have to remind myself not to just sit back and stare for a minute or an hour. It’s not just me; there is definitely something hypnotic about watching an infant!

It’s hard to believe that in just a few more weeks this little one will already lose that newborn look and become a baby! She was ten days old here. For her session I used primarily neutral colours for a soft look, but the purple tutu I picked up was such a nice addition to this shoot. Some ivory fabric flowers placed on baby’s head added some flair ;)
