Taylor and Dustin met me this weekend for their fall engagement photos in Nepean. They’re getting married next summer at Stone Crop Acres Winery in Morrisburg. I’ve never been there before, and I’m very excited to check it out!

I met these two in person just a couple months ago when I photographed Taylor’s sister’s wedding in Winchester. Both Taylor and Dustin were in the wedding party, and I have a feeling their own wedding is going to be quite the event!

For their engagement photos they brought along their daughter Riley and their pup Sophie. Taylor’s mom and sister also came along to help. I love having family dogs in portraits, but it’s definitely key to have someone with you if your dog is hard to wrangle. It’s also good to get photos without the pup(s), and having someone be able to take them away helps you focus! For this session, it was little Riley who benefitting the most from her cheering squad behind me trying to get her attention and make her laugh. She’s a very serious baby, but she had great focus and gave us some sweet smiles!
