I was so happy to get to see the Rivett Family again this year for their fall family portraits! These kids are just so adorable and it’s great seeing them grow every year. I like to think they are now old enough to remember me from year to year, but I have a feeling their mom and dad do some coaching before our portrait session.
This year they had a new furry four-legged addition to their family! We took their photos at Bruce Pit in Ottawa’s West End, which is a dog park. I go often to Bruce Pit with my little family, so I’m very familiar with the area and the light. Plus, I always encourage furry family members to join in the session, so that’s a great place for it!
The three kiddos are all talking up a storm these days, and taught me all about different types of trees and leaves, which I really appreciated (outdoor nut that I am). As always, they were dressed with seemingly effortless coordination (see previous sessions here, here, and here to see what I mean). Their mom, Hayley, says she never goes shopping for these portrait sessions, so I assume she is some sort of wardrobe ninja.
Thanks again for having me document your growing family, Rivetts! I hope you love your images and the kids appreciate the silly faces!
