Kate and Matt | A Backyard Wedding in Finch, Ontario

What a wedding! Kate and Matt said their funny and heartfelt vows during a beautiful wedding in their home’s backyard in Finch. The day was hot and stormy (sort of like their engagement portraits), alternating between showers and wind that made squeezing in portraits a challenge, but the sun came out to welcome their guests just when it was most important.

The happy couple met in a way that sounds right out of a romcom: he was a cop, she was a firefighter, and the rest is history. From making fun of each other’s love of sleeping with socks on to one-upping each other professionally (so far she’s the only one to be tased), these two love to be around each other. They support one another after hard days, and play together during time off. Their families and friends were so excited to be part of their wedding day, which finished at the Embrun Community Centre Hall.
