It’s hard to believe that almost two years ago I photographed the littlest Smith shortly after her arrival into the world. Although I follow along with her exploits from time to time on Facebook, I haven’t seen her (or the rest of the Smith family) too often since then! So it was great to meet up with them all at Thomas Christmas Tree Farm in North Gower last weekend. We squeaked this session in right before the snow hit Ottawa, but it was still pretty chilly in the morning! Most Canadians know the challenge of trying to dress nicely in cold weather… and most of us give up and just wear whatever we need to to keep our extremities from freezing and falling off. But when it’s time for family photos, the struggle is real! These guys did a great job with their hot pink and plum outfits.

Smiths, it was so nice to see you all again. The girls are getting so big! Once we’ve all survived the winter a BBQ has to happen. I’m already dreaming of warm days ;) In the meantime, Merry Christmas!
