I know what it’s like living far away from home. There’s so much adventure living in a new city, but you still think about the familiarity of home. And if you’re planning to move back, you think about it even more! Andrea and Tim have been living in Ottawa for three years. To remember their time here, they wanted their fall engagement pictures in Downtown Ottawa. We spent an evening in October walking around Parliament Hill and the canal, soaking in as much Ottawa as we could!

Tim moved here first to do his residency in anesthesiology, and Andrea followed him out. She’s in a medical profession as well, and helps children with speech challenges. You can tell she’s passionate about her job, while Tim is looking forward to finishing his residency. They’re both from Vancouver, and are planning their wedding there. It’s a lot of work planning a wedding, let alone from another province!

We had a great fall day – not too chilly and the sun even peeked out from time to time! It was nice getting to know these two and seeing the city through their eyes.
