Lea and Marcus are getting married later this summer! Lea was away working on a farm for the winter and spring and only returning in June. So we scheduled their summer engagement portraits at the Ottawa Arboretum. (Check out other couples’ portrait sessions at the Dominion Arboretum here and here).

They’re planning a country wedding in Alexandria and I am so excited for it after meeting them! Country weddings are just amazing, and I’m always thankful when my past couples refer me to their friends. It’s such an honour to be there when two people getting married. And it’s really special when I know some of the weddings guests!

It was a perfect night of sunshine and warmth. Lea and Marcus told me about themselves and more of their wedding plans. They were great company as we walked all around the arboretum, even sneaking in an outfit change! We timed golden hour perfectly — check out that glow!
