I met the Rivett’s last year when they were a sweet family of three. This year, there were four of them, and they were as cute as ever. The little ones both had a cold, and it was freezing out (it even snowed!), but we still got some great shots! Once again, they had great coordinating outfits this year. That’s really a key component to good-looking portraits: outfits that coordinate but don’t match, with lots of textures and layers!

We did this shoot in the experimental farm, at the boundary of the Fletcher Wildlife Garden. As much as I like getting adventurous with my locations, you really need somewhere accessible with small children, and this location offered variety.
