Nadine and Shawn are getting married next summer! Because the wedding will be at Nadine’s family farm, they opted to go to Shawn’s family farm for they engagement portraits. If you’ve been following for awhile, you might recognize this gorgeous farm in Berwick, Ontario, since both of Shawn’s sisters were married here! Allison and Tyler tied the knot in 2018, and Aimee and Bailey celebrated their big day in 2022.

We had a beautiful fall evening for these casual engagement portraits, and took full advantage of the variety that can be found on a farm. Nadine’s only request was to take some pictures with the giant shovel, which was perfectly placed for some sunset glow. Like many couples, they’d never had their portraits taken professionally before, but they rocked it! And let me tell you, that’s not easy when people you know are nearby and popping out from behind buildings occasionally! It’s all good practice for the wedding day, though.
